About the Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for leading the definition and maintenance of consistent information management methodologies, disciplines, and processes. This role will work collaboratively with peers to develop cross-sector (shared) standards and initiatives wherever possible. You will also monitor and audit the organisation’s compliance with the Public Records Act 2005 and associated mandatory record-keeping standards.
As Auckland DHB transitions into a fully digital workplace, this position will support the redevelopment and delivery of robust advice across all aspects of information, data and records management.
In this role, there will be three people directly reporting to you and four indirect reports. You will provide excellent leadership and develop your team through positively influencing their progress towards successful results.

You will have a flexible approach to your work, you will have the ability to lead a team and take initiative. You are a natural analytical problem solver with the ability to clearly articulate complex ideas. Simultaneously, you will build quality and constructive relationships with multiple stakeholders.
You will have 5 years + experience in an Information/Records management position with demonstrated leadership experience. Having knowledge of the Public Records Act 2005 and mandatory record-keeping standards are a necessity. You will have a proven record of policy writing as well as developing and successfully implementing information strategies and plans.
