Operating within the Auckland metropolitan area, ADHB's Mental Health Service for Maori aims to provide a quality mental health service to adult Maori tangata whai i te ora and their whanau. The team comprises of both Maori and non-Maori staff, clinicians and cultural/community support workers who share a passion for supporting Maori on their recovery pathway. Manawanui’s commitment to our clients ensures healing in a holistic manner taking into account whanau, cultural, spiritual, physical and mental dimensions in ordr to achieve the best possible standards of cultural-clinical care.
The multi-disciplinary team provide a range of assessment and recovery focused treatment options, with a strong multi-disciplinary focus in collaboration with service users, their whanau, local communities, NGO’s and social services.

We are looking for Allied health Mental Health professionals who would like to join our multidisciplinary team - who has a strong commitment to being a part of a team, and demonstrates excellent com
munication skills, and an understanding cultural safety and competence.
We are looking for MH professionals (Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, MH Nurses, Psychologists and Psychotherapists) who can provide assessment, formulation and practice that supports whai i te ora with complex issues including psychosis, mood disorders, personality disorders and PTSD, along with co-morbid physical issues and co-existing problems. You will be motivated and able to work both autonomously within a multi team context and be able to demonstrate a clear vision and aptitude for the way a Mental Health Allied health professional can contribute effectively within this setting.
We will provide an interesting and supportive working environment including excellent supervision and a commitment to on-going professional development.
It is essential that you are a NZ Registered Mental Health professional (Allied health and Mental Health Nursing), holding a current annual practicing certificate with a Clinical Scope of Practice. You must have a full and clean NZ driver's licence.

This is a permanent role, full time working from Monday to Friday based on the beautiful Whatua Kaimarie Marae in Point Chevalier with easy access to the North Western motorway and free off-street parking.
