Tēnā koutou katoa - we’re readying ourselves for one of the most important vaccinations progammes in Aotearoa’s history: the rollout of the Covid-19 vaccine. And right now, we need your help. Vaccination sites are being set up across Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland) region, so it’s vital we have the people we need in place - quickly - to effectively help protect our region against Covid-19. It’s a real chance to be part of a significant step in our nation’s health history...while being of genuine service to friends and whānau across the Auckland region.

It will come as no surprise that authorised and provisional vaccinators, and those wanting to add to their skills and become one, will form one of the most critical components of the COVID vaccination sites teams. So it’s vital those with the expertise and availability join us in the fight to protect Auckland against Covid-19.
If you are an authorised or provisional vaccinator or know someone who is - then please dive straight in and apply below! There will be vaccination sites across Tāmaki Makaurau, and we’re offering full, part time and, potentially, casual roles. We are also particularly keen to build our vaccinator workforce and so if you are a health professional interested in becoming an authorised vaccinator, then your first step is please express your interest at Vaccinator Pathway Registration and we will come back to you with information on the training pathway and provide additional support from our training Kaitiaki, if you need it . We provide support with organising clinical assessment, CPR and Covid-19 module as part of the orientation.
Generally though, Health Professionals will need a current APC to undertake the Provisional Vaccinator Foundation Course (PVFC) which is 4-6 hours online. We organise clinical assessment, Covid-19 module and CPR training as part of your orientation.
