We are advertising two roles, A Māori Midwife Specialist, Complex cares and a Caseloading Midwife who will awhi the New Graduate Midwives in a Tuākana Teina model.
The ideal midwife would have an equity lens, is comfortable working in a MDT setting and advocates for Whānau Māori, able to work 0.8 – 1.0 FTE, has broad midwifery experience (primary, secondary and high risk complex cares + home birth) who embodies Te Ao Māori or has a desire to learn. We also have an option for a LMC contract while supporting the case-loading team.
