The acute care area serves our Emergency and Admission units; there is never a dull day. This is not routine nursing. It is a fast turn-around, quick decision making environment, covering all adult specialities, for instance General Medicine, General Surgery, Orthopaedics, etc. We have an amazing team environment where new skills are learnt on a daily basis as Steve explains here:

Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills
To be registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand, with an Annual Practicing Certificate speaks for itself. ED experience, well, yes, but we will also consider those with experience in other NZ hospitals.
And if you lack NZ acute experience, but have proven overseas emergency / acute experience then please apply.
