Clinical Nurse Specialist – Endocrinology – Fracture Liaison Nurse

Our Endocrinology Services are dedicated to providing compassionate, inclusive, and patient-centred care, empowering individuals to actively manage their health and wellbeing.
This is a permanent, part-time position (0.6 FTE, 24 hours per week) based at Greenlane Clinical Centre. The role offers a diverse range of responsibilities, including clinical leadership, patient advocacy, direct care, teaching, service improvement, and research opportunities.

Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills
The ideal candidate for this role is an experienced senior Registered Nurse (Level 4) with 3–5 years of postgraduate experience and expertise in fracture liaison
· You will play a key role in leading Endocrinology management by delivering equitable, patient-centred care that supports and empowers individuals to take charge of their health and wellbeing.
· You must have the right to work in New Zealand and be registered with the NZ Nursing Council, holding a current annual practicing certificate.
· You will already be practicing at the top of your scope as a clinician, with excellent advanced clinical assessment skills and a drive to further enhance your expertise.
· Your ability to collaborate effectively, foster positive relationships, and demonstrate a strong commitment to teamwork will ensure we continue to support one another and share clinical knowledge across the service.

Advanced Clinician Physiotherapist – Fracture Liaison Service

The Fracture Liaison Service (FLS) is a specialist service that performs comprehensive bone health assessments for patients with fragility fractures. FLS provides evidence-based treatment recommendations designed to prevent future fractures.
The Advanced Clinician will primarily be responsible for delivering clinical care and will support the service by applying current, evidence-based practice. This role plays a key part in the development and implementation of a high-quality service in the field of Osteoporosis and fracture prevention. It is an advanced clinical position, with most of the clinician’s time dedicated to direct patient care.

The Physiotherapy Advanced Clinician will:
· Provide advanced clinical practice and implement evidence-based standards of practice.
· Lead the development of local pathways, protocols and guidelines.
· Provide clinical teaching and support to all relevant stakeholders including patients, whānau, staff and students, and other health professionals.
· Evaluate service requirements and implement clinical research and audits
· The ideal candidate for this role is an experienced Physiotherapist with a minimum of six years’ experience and expertise in musculoskeletal/orthopaedics/older people’s health.
· You will play a key role in leading osteoporosis prevention and management by delivering equitable, patient-centred care that supports and empowers individuals to take charge of their health and well being.
· You must have the right to work in New Zealand and have a current Annual Practice Certificate.
