About the role
We are seeking a part-time (0.9FTE), fixed term (12 months) Clinical Charge Nurse who will be providing clinical and professional nursing leadership, team work promotion, coaching of staff and monitoring standards of practice. Proven experiences as a highly proficient clinician in nursing practice including skills, knowledge and ability to provide direction for and evaluate nursing care are keys to success in this role.
About the Team
The Children’s Emergency Department at Starship Child Health specialises in meeting the needs of acutely ill or injured children and young people ranging from birth to 15 years of age. Our team works within a multidisciplinary framework including Hospital Play Specialists, Social Workers, Māori & Pacific Island support workers and clerical staff who of course work closely with the nursing and medical teams.
