About the Role
We have a 12-month fixed-term full-time position for a Neurologist.
This is a full-time position (55 hours per week) however part-time would be considered.

About the Team
Te Toka Tumai Auckland - Department of Neurology provides tertiary inpatient and outpatient adult neurology care to the greater Auckland region with a catchment population of 1.7 million. We run two national referral services - Epilepsy Video Monitoring and Epilepsy Surgery Program, Deep Brain Stimulation - and a 24/7 multi-region stroke endovascular clot retrieval service.
Our team comprises of 19 consultant neurologists, 2 fellows, 6 registrars/senior residents, 5 nurse specialists, 20 inpatient beds. We have a comprehensive mix of sub-specialist skills and will provide opportunity for you to continue developing your own sub-specialist expertise.

About you
The post is open to medically qualified applicants who should hold the FRACP or equivalent qualification and be eligible for vocational registration with the New Zealand Medical Council.
